price question

Hi everyone

I am trying to estimate the cost of a Chip-Seq experiment but I have trouble finding clear information. I can get price per lane but it does not really help me.

So, with a simple example, could someone help me figure this out ?

Let say that I want to analyse 3 histone marks, in 3 individuals (human) for 2 different conditions.

I have no idea of dollar amount but I would try to estimate how many reads you want. For example, how many reads were used to get good data in the ENCODE set? From there, you can look up the average yield of reads per lane for whatever machine you have access to and figure out how many lanes you need.
