Hi all,
I know 454 and ion are weak against homopolymer.
Very recent torrent browser 3.4 can call precisely 8 to 9 homopolymer, but there is no evidence for accuracy.
As you know, medip-seq usually produces many CG containing read with many homopolymer regions.
So, I worry about to use torrrent system to seq mediped DNA.
Anybody who know real data to prove accuracy on medipaeq, I will appreciate it, if you let me know.
