I have a couple of bacterial strains sequenced using 454 and assembled de novo. I aligned the contings to a ref. strain using Contiguator and got one pseudocontig for each strain.
How can I transfer the annotation I already have from the original contigs to the new pseudocontig generated?
Another option, how can I transfer the annotation from the reference genome to the pseudocontigs? They are all the same species.
I am using a windows system and I [still] cannot run programs that need perl, python etc. I would like very much to find either online or windows solutions please.
