  • NGS Post-Doc opportunity in Vancouver, BC

    Post-Doctoral Scientist position available for a Sequencing Data Analyst in the laboratory of Corey Nislow and The Pharmaceutical Sciences Sequencing Centre in Vancouver, BC. The facility is extraordinarily well-equipped. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working NGS data analyst to be part of a team that is involved in a great diversity of projects. These include, Human exome sequencing, RNA-seq, microbial genomes, barcode sequencing and several counting applications. Experience with current sequencing analysis pipelines required. Programming experience is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills are essential as the successful candidate will work closely with individual research groups to develop software and aide analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the publication of scientific literature and to present at seminars and conferences.
