  • Nextera DNA Flex performance

    Hi,
I wonder if someone can share some library QC information (Picard type) on the new Nextera DNA Flex, such as dupe rate, estimated library size, GC bias, etc. This needs to be without enrichment, of course.
    Thanks,
    Kamran

I tested the new kit on my extreme problem bacterial genomes (>70% GC). It appears that the cut site bias is basically the same for the flex as it has been for the other flavors of nextera. the library prep is nice an easy, I'll likely move to flex for standard genomes but difficult ones continue to need manual shearing

Thanks for the reply. If there is still a bias, there should be a heterogeneous coverage. Are you comfortable with that?
