Need suggestion about RNA-seq

Hi,

We have one tumor tissue sample but without its adjacent normal part.
We're wondering whether doing PBMC RNA-seq would be helpful ?

The only application I can think of would be looking for fusion mRNAs. Is it needed that we filter candidate fusions using the PBMC result? (How many candidate fusions are there from a tumor RNA-seq?)

Does anyone have suggestions on other applications using only tumor RNA-seq?
Or any suggenstions on whether to do the PBMC RNA-seq?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)
