A position for a bioinformatician (post-doc or research assistant level) will become available in the blood stem cell laboratory in Cambridge, UK. We are looking for a person who is keen to integrate ChIP-Seq transcription factor binding data with analysing genomic sequences (motifs, combinatorial motifs etc) and perturbation / expression data to help us reconstructing regulatory networks in blood stem cells.
We are a highly productive group, which is 70% experimental and 30% bioinfomratics. Bioinformaticians in the group interact closely with experimentalists and importantly they are not "just service providers" but instead get a chance to develop their own projects with 1st author publications.
