Phyton - Find gene ID from genome coordinate

Hi All,

I'm developing a Python tool to find gene translocation from NGS data. After alignment and reads selection, I would like to obtain their gene ID by genome coordinate.

I tried to googling but without success:confused:. Do you now how can I do it?

Thank,

Andrea

import cruzdb

g = cruzdb.Genome('hg19')
g.bin_query('refGene', 'chr1', 1234567, 1234568).all()
