FFPE DNA prep from LCM

Does anyone have experience, + or -, working with any commercial kits to take LCM'd FFPE tissue to Shearing step (Covaris) for SOLiD?:eek:

We've used the qiagen qiaamp dna micro kit with reasonable results. For illumina rather than solid, so I don't know whether that would make a difference. It's a bit unpredictable. Mostly library prep works but sometimes it doesn't.
