Overcalled A's in my 454 data
I've assembled 780,000 reads of 454 sequence with the Roche gsAssembler program and I've noticed that there are a huge number of overcalled A's. Most of them seem to be associated with runs of A's,...

Opinion on facilities in Canada?
From what I can tell there are only three places in Canada that do "next generation" sequencing. McGill University, Sick Kids in Toronto, and Michael Smith in BC.
Does anyone have any opinions...

Well, I've been tasked with sequencing and annotating a bacteria for a postdoc project.
