DNANexus vs. Seven Bridges

For RNA Seq pipelines for scientists that have little to no computational background. Does anyone have pros/cons of each or if there is a very distinct difference between what each company provides?...

Bumping this thread because I am curious as well.

We tried 500 pg of good quality total RNA with this kit. It had horrible results - 60-90% Duplication rate, 30% rRNA fractions. Anyone else...

Metrics to Compare Library Preparation

Hi,

I was wondering what measures users use on sequencing data to compare two sets of data. More specifically, if one were to compare TruSeq vs. NuGEN, for example, what metrics would be...

Scale Up or Down Reaction Volumes?

Has anyone used TruSeq RNA or NEBNext RNA kits and tried to scale the volumes down or up? Is this even possible? Just curious to see if I can add more to generate more libraries, or less to...

Hi EvilTwin,

Yes you did understand my question. Thanks for the response. Can CATS be used at equivalent quantities as the other kits? E.g. if you added 100ng into the reaction would it flood...

Is there evidence that you get very high RNA whole transcriptome coverage using this method compared to others? I know in the paper it claims that this comparison wasn't done because input/cost are...
