Thanks for the information, i am intereseted in using Pacbio but do you know of any place that could provide the service for around ~400, as most of the sequencing services seem to cost considerably...

hi all

Iv sequenced a bacterial genome using the iontorrent 400nt sequencing kit (unpaired reads) and have a difficult genome that has many repetitive regions and low similarity reference genomes....

i think the CLC genome finishing module would be good in reducing the number of contigs. My initial DeNovo was not done well and by the time i realized this i ran out...
