SureSelect XT HS index hopping

Hi all,

we are thinking of running SSXTHS (exome v6) on the Novaseq. From the manual, it seems to me that they have a single index on i7 and UMI without a second index on i5. Is it correct?

Hi all,

I don't have Covaris, and need some sheared control DNA. Ideally, broad range, so I can size select. Anybody knows commercially available sheared DNA (available in EU)?

Do you screen for rRNA contamination anyhow? PCR or so? I saw no bands on RNA gels for rRNA, but around 40% reads were rRNA after sequencing run
