I want to subsample 10 million reads from both an interleaved reads file and a singletons reads file at the same time. Can reformat.sh do this?

Blasting your blastx results against your own database?

Hi! I have .xml, .html, .art file results form a blastx. I need to blastp one of these files against an in-house database.
Do you know which files (.xml, .html, or .art) I should blast?

If anyone needs it in the future:


If you need to transfer a folder full of files, the code is:

scp -r folder_name NetID@server.edu:/some/directory

How to transfer files off of computer harddrive onto hpc account?

Hi! I am completely new to bioinfomatics so this question may be stupid. How do you downloaded a bunch of files from your harddrive to an offsite hpc account?
