    COG functions to categories

Hi, I have a COG (Clusters of Orthologous Group) function lists and I want to know which COG categories these functions belong to?

Does anyone know any websites where I can do search?

    Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you are asking. But this should answer a different post you have from a few days ago.

This file appears to have the mappings of COG ID's to functions: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/wolf/COGs/COG0303/cogs.csv

A list of the major COG categories is at this link: http://ecoliwiki.net/colipedia/index...ups_%28COGs%29

BTW, GenoMax, do you know is there any website that I can find detailed introduction for each COG function.

For example, if I am interested in COG 001, I want know some details. What is the detailed function? What kind of enzyme?

          Try this: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/wolf/COGs...3/listcogs.txt
