    .ab1 training files

Hi does anyone know if its possible to get .ab1 files for evaluating/training on SeqScape? We'd like to develop our analysis workflow for a clinical assay being run on our 3500xL. We haven't run anything through the sequencer as yet and because of tight timelines we'd like to be able to work on the secondary analysis s/ware at the same time we're optimising the assay. I was hoping there might be a repository of publically available sanger data that we'd use for this purpose.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

These files may be hard to come by. You can find an example plasmid ab1 file here and there but I do not remember coming across a set one can download (does not mean they are not there). You could ask your local AB/Life Tech sales person to see if they can help.

Beyond CRISPR/Cas9: Understand, Choose, and Use the Right Genome Editing Tool
        by SEQadmin2

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into

        by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has
