Cost of one run (consumables) with Pac Bio?
Would anyone have an estimation of what the cost of consumables (mainly flow cells) is for one run on a Pac Bio platform? Or can give me a range/estimate? Thank you!

Since you posted the same question in multiple forums I will post the same answer:
If you are not able to find this information from respective manufacturer web sites/published pricing then you may want to directly contact a sales person.
People may give you an estimate here but it may not mean much since different sites have access to discounts based on the volume of purchases that you would not be able to replicate/use for your own.

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.07-01-2026, 11:43 AM

I’m not a sequencing expert. I’m a purification scientist who uses NGS to evaluate workflows my group develops. With this perspective, we think about the sample first and the NGS workflow second.
