SEQanswers used as a reference in Nature Biotech paper!

Thought this was a worthy milestone in SEQanswers' existence. While reading the next-gen focus in this issue of Nature Biotech, I came across the following table summarizing software packages:

    ...note small print.

We're official people! Many thanks again to sci_guy and everyone else who contributed to the epic bioinformatics tools thread referenced above!

Thanks also to Jay Shendure and Hanlee Ji for stopping by. Would love to see you both post!

      List of Seq tools

SEQanswers was also used to compile this list from NBIC (Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre):

The good thing about this list is that it features a description of each package, and since it is a Wiki it has a chance of staying up-to-date.

        Nice site.

You have a problem with your site certificate (not sure why you're specifying https) which prevents the site from loading properly for firefox users.

Also, you're missing ABI as a next gen seq provider.

It's good to see articles like this, especially since the technology platforms are in such a state of flux. The authors dont claim a complete list and Seqanswers probably have the most comprehensive listing I've seen so far.

          Congrats are in order

I find the fact the thread is helping a populate a wiki amusing considering the thread was born out of a wiki I maintain for my organisation.
