I want to delete this account, make a new one with my real name, start from scratch

I want to delete this account, Azazel.
I want to make a new account with my real name.
I do not want to change my username. I want to start from scratch.
Is this possible? Cannot find info on how to delete this account.

Who do you want to delete it? I had an account with a crappy username when I was a student, I just abandoned it and signed up to a new account with my first name afterwards.

@Azazel wants to keep that username.

@Azazel: Have you tried to click on your user name and then choosing "edit user profile"? You should be able to enter your real name there (I think) if that is all you want to change.

Oh well, re-reading his post, it appears like he wants to keep the same username but have a different display name appear next to his posts.

You can edit your account to have your real name appear below your username (see mine to the left). That might prove the simplest.
