I am preparing a custom made PCR-based amplicon library.
I will use custom primers for the read in miseq but since it is a low diversity library, I need some control as PhiX. However, PhiX works only with illuminas primers and will not work with my custom made primers.
What can I use instead of PhiX?
Do you there is an option to add my custom primers to Illumina's read1 and read 2 standard primers and by this keep using the PhiX control?
