Sclust for hg38

Hi

Has anybody succesfully sclust using data aligned to hg38?

It appears to be an interesting algorithm, and tests on hg19 showed very promising results, but now I need to apply it on data aligned to hg38, and I would like to avoid liftover or re-aligning to hg19.
