    MG-RAST help needed

I'm trying to take COG hits from MG-RAST and put them into microbiome analyst. I have an abundance table and a metadata table, in .txt's, all set up. The issue is that microbiomeanalyst isn't taking it. An error message pops up informing me that I have six samples and 3001 values...and only that. I'm not sure if there's a problem with the way my metadata or abundance table is set up, I'm not sure if the issue is that the TSV's that i converted to .txt's from MG-RAST are displaying enzyme names instead of the COG code
    Abundance table format:
    #NAME Sample1 Sample2 Sample3 etc
    C-Carbo... 7 56 75
    Metadata format:
    #NAME Type
    Sample1 G. species 1
    Sample2 G. species 1
    Sample3 G. species 1
    Sample4 G. species 2
    etc

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
    by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection...

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
    by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
