[Important] Calls for suggestion for potential reviewers for SEQanswers publicaiton

    Dear all,

We are about to send out our manuscript of "SEQanswers wiki" to NAR database issue 2012.

Do you have anyone in mind, who know Biowikis well / Actively involved in Biowikis / actively involved in community curation of Bio databases / Know the development and difficulties in analyzing NGS data?

We need (1) his/her name, (2) affiliated institution and (3) his/her email address. If possible, can you briefly describe the reason you suggest him/her?

if you do not know anyone with above mentioned attributes, may you ask you colleagues, forward this link to anyone who have friends in the field?

    Thanks a lot.

    To suggest, you can

    (1) Edit in http://seqanswers.com/wiki/Publicati...d_Reviewers.3F

    (2) Just write it here

    (3) email to [email protected], I will forward the email to all authors.

    Reagards,
Marco (member of the SEQanswers wiki publishing team)

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
        by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
        by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
