    DEXSeq and Biobase

    Hi,

    I'm trying to instal DEXSeq for differential exon usage. I always get the error

    Error : package 'Biobase' 2.10.0 was found, but >= 2.13.5 is required by 'DEXSeq'

    The problem is that the latest version of the Biobase in Bioconductor.org is 2.12.2. Do you know if there are higher Biobase versions?

    You have to install R2.14 in order to install Bioconductor 2.9 which contains Biobase 2.13.10. Note that R2.14 is alpha and Bioconductor 2.9 is in development.

      Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.
