    Post-expiry Illumina reagents

Does anyone have experience using Illumina HiSeq v3 reagents after their expiry date? Everything is still stored at -20 in original packaging. Kits in question is SR and PE v3 clustering kits and sequencing kits. If so, how far out have you used them? Be aware, my Illumina products arrived with only 3 months left on the shelf life!

As long as it was stored properly, I don't see what could have gone bad....

I was told by my FAS that the SR kits are more robust to being used past expiry than the PE kits. I guess it has something to do with how the linearisation is achieved.
We have some SR kits that are about 6 months out of date and we're going to put them on in a few weeks to see if we get anything, but I have no info at the moment.

Highly curious: Did you ever run any of the expired SR cluster kits?
