    How to index a genome for BLAST

    Hi everyone!

    I have just installed BLAST+ 2.2.27 on my mac. I want to run some cDNAs against arabidopsis thaliana's genome. I know I need to download the genome and format it for BLAST searches but I don't know how.

    I would greatly appreciate any help.
