Hello,
I am using CLC bio for a metagenomic analysis.
However, the largest part of the reads is from the human genome.
Therefore, I have to exclude the reads which align to the human genome,
at the first hand (so called digital subtraction).
CLC suggested me to use the following feature:
However, it turned out that, running this feature would require 24 - 48 GB
of computer memory.
I cannot afford such a high-spec machine.
Is it possible to run this feature on a machine with only 8GB memory,
or are there any websites which could kindly carry out this digital subtraction?
Thanks
