Default Workshop on Comparative Genomics - Update

Dear SEQanswers community,

I wanted to let everyone know that we are still accepting applications to the Workshop on Comparative Genomics being held in Fort Collins between July 10-22, 2011. We have made some updates to the schedule. If you are interested you can find more detail about the Workshop and previous Workshops here: http://www.molecularevolution.org/workshops/WCG.

The application deadline is MAY 15.

The Workshop will cover both basic and advanced topics relevant to working with next-gen sequencing data including several topical lectures from leaders in their respective fields:

- Sequencing technologies
- Study design
- Quality control
- Bioperl
- AbYSS, bowtie, velvet
- Scripture
- Galaxy
- gMOD / gBROWSE
- PyCOGENT / QIIME
