  • Sequence Analysis Software Developer

    Cofactor Genomics is based in St. Louis, MO and provides sequencing and analysis services to academic and industry clients. We are a small company committed to changing the service sequencing paradigm by offering our customers front-to-back solutions; experimental design, next-generation sequencing, and advanced analytics for their work. Our dedication and constant attentiveness to customer needs, coupled with rapid technological integration, will help us to attain our goal of being an industry leader.

    This is an exciting time at Cofactor Genomics and we seek a talented bioinformatician to support and contribute to our Next-Generation DNA sequencing analysis applications. Specific responsibilities would be to further extend and automate our current set of analysis tools and to work closely with the Cofactor team to accomplish our analysis goals.

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Analysis of genotyping data
    • Differential expression analysis
    • Experimental design
    • Methylation detection and quantification
    • Participation in collaborations


    We seek candidates with experience in some or all of the following skills:
    • Skilled programmer in Perl, Java and/or C/C++.
    • Excellent communication skills are a must. You will work both as part of the cofactor team and also be in contact with Cofactor's collaborators and customers.
    • Developers with previous experience and interest in DNA sequence analysis and next-generation sequencing technologies would be a plus.


    Salary will be based on applicants skill set and previous experience.
