The application deadline is

SCHOLARSHIPS
We will be awarding up to five $1,000 travel awards. To be considered for a travel award you will have to be accepted to the Workshop on Genomics and submit a written essay describing how the advent of moden sequencing technologies has altered your research program. Selected essays will be published on the

ADVANCED TOPICS
The application deadline for the Advanced Topic Sessions is also 15 November, 2011. In addition to 3-day sessions on
BioPython and
R/BioConductor, we are working with the
GMOD group to bring a 3-day GMOD/gbrowse Advanced Topic Session. For those of you interested in genome annotation and visualization this should be an outstanding opportunity.
