I was wondering if any of you had any experience ordering either of these machines. I am most interested in hearing about how long it takes for you to recieve the machine and be up and running from order time, but any insights I might not have thought of are welcome.

Thanks for your interest. The answer is next day shipping for Ion PGMs.

And from the shipment, how long until the fully operational machine arrives?

Does a technician come in with the machine to help install? When does that happen?

Ion Torrent PGMs are built to stock and housed globally for next day delivery. Installation is scheduled with the customer once site preparation is completed.
