    Car pools provider

    Hello,
Would you be able to remember who does this "Car pool". We want to do sequencing but cost is one of the limiting factors currently. Therefore, we are looking for car pools and also any providers who charge least.
    Thanks in advance.

I did stumble upon a company who actually lists their sequencing pricing on their frontpage and they do 'car pools' to conserve sequencing lanes on the GAII. They even have a schedule showing the availability queue.
Perhaps more service providers could be more open with displaying this information that's helpful to the user.

      Hi Windhorse8,
The place that zee was referring to that does 'car pools' is Cofactor Genomics.

I am a part of that team of scientists. We have successfully completed over 750 sequencing projects and we employ some of the top molecular biologists and computational biologists to make sure the samples and analysis offerings are the best in the industry. If you submit your project details on our website we can recommend the experimental approach (ie which platform(s), of the 4 we currently run, is appropriate for your project and what library and analysis approach will yield the most useful results).

      My best.

Essential Discoveries and Tools in Epitranscriptomics
          by seqadmin

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist on Modified Bases...

          Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
          by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...
