RNA storage and shipping for Illumina seq

Hello!
I need to send some samples to USA for mRNA seq. Since I can't prepare the cDNA here, I need to send the RNA. I thought to precipitate it and then send at 4°C. Anybody has never done this? Or anybody has alternative options?
Moreover, someone knows which carrier is the best in mRNA precipitation (acrylamide or glycogen)?? Can they interfere with the following protocol?

The best will be to send total RNA in 0.1M soduim acetate and 2 vol ethanol. I used to send total RNA to US for Affymetrix and Exiqon microarray experiments.

If you have not already extracted your RNA, you can also lyse the samples in Trizol and ship the samples while frozen in Trizol. If the other lab is unable to perform a precipitation, you can also use RNAStable to store your sample. Your samples can then be shipped without dry ice and rehydration is as simple as adding water. The protocol is a bit more complicated for you, but it's much easier for the end user.

I need to follow up the protocol until the mRNA purification from rRNA, since the purification hasn't been paid to the seq facility... Do you know if the same way could be good also for mRNA? And do you meant shipping it in solution of sodium acetate and ethanol, without pelleting? At wich temperature did you ship?

RNA Stable is produced by a company called Biomatrica. We've used it before to send total RNA, mRNA, and even small RNA for Illumina RNA library generation and didn't have any issues.

Our facility has used the RNA stabilization product from Gentegra with success. Samples are shipped at room temperature and remain stable. Upon arrival the RNA is resuspended and suitable for downstream applications such as an RNA-Seq library.
