BWA acceleration with FPGA
Hi there,
I'm planning to make a FPGA hardware accelerator for NGS gene data alignment and mapping. It's kind of like a hardware version BWA but much faster(~10 times or more). So how does this sounds like to you. Do you have the urgent need for faster data processing.
And what kind of accelerator do you expect? How can I persuade you that this accelerator is better than BWA(faster and accurate).
Would you please give me some advise. Appreciate for any feedback.
Maybe someday in the future you will use this accelerator, elevating you waiting time!
