    SeqStudio users?

I wonder if anyone has information whether SeqStudio cathode buffer is the same as other running /cathode buffers for earlier ABI CE sequencers. In other words, can 10x running buffers for ABI CE sequencers available on the market can be used as SeqStuido cathode buffer?

You can try it (especially with the used cartridge), but first I would measure the conductivity/pH of the ready cathode/anode buffer solution, than dillute the ABI CE buffer to the same ionic strength as new instrument ones. The buffering capacity of universal buffer is lower, than specifically made anode/cathode ones, but by how much, a test titration by acid/base can tell you.

I am using ABI3500 for capillary fragment analysis, Can I just refill the cathode and anode buffer instead of changing them every time to make it cost effective?
      Thankyou

        Hi there,
Any one use the product of Nimagen (Shop - NimaGen.com | Innovators in DNA Sequencing Technologies - NimaGen), they offer buffer for Seqstudio, has anyone use?

          Hi there,
i have an issue, we purchased SeqStudio in 2021, problem is it often hang, 1st run in majority sizing issue (same sample in 2nd injection has data peaks & sized), contact support but no use. do anyone face the same issue?

Nine Things a Sample Prep Scientist Thinks About Before Sequencing
            by SEQadmin2

I’m not a sequencing expert. I’m a purification scientist who uses NGS to evaluate workflows my group develops. With this perspective, we think about the sample first and the NGS workflow second. The sequencer is an exceptionally honest reporter, but it can only report on what you give it, so whether you get clean, interpretable data from an NGS workflow is largely determined before you begin.

Here are nine questions we think about, in roughly the order they matter, before...

From Collection to Sequencing: Why Sample Preparation and Preservation Define Sequencing Data
            by SEQadmin2

Data variability is still an issue in sequencing technologies despite the advances in reproducibility and accuracy of these platforms. But the problem does not originate in the sequencing itself, but in the previous steps, before the sample reaches the sequencer.

The first step is collection, followed by preservation and sample preparation for analysis. Most scientists overlook those steps, but not being careful might just be skewing the experiment’s results.
