qPCR to validate/quantify Nextera library

Hi,

I wish to validate my Nextera DNA library by qPCR.

Is this done merely by comparing against a control DNA library, i.e. the one that comes with the kit?

Is it possible to quanitify in absolute terms by qPCR or is this done with the BioAnalyzer?
