    Strategic Services Sales

Golden Helix is a leader in genetic analysis tools and services. We’re known for helping researchers overcome the obstacles that keep them from making novel discoveries and significant publications. Our services business is growing, creating the need to expand our team.

If you like working with a broad variety of clients, enjoy the creativity and conceptual thinking required to sell custom projects versus off-the-shelf products or services, and want to make a near-term, measurable difference to your clients, this may be the right career move for you.

    Job Description
We are seeking a consultative sales expert to help fuel our growth in services.

As a key member of our business development and services team, you will work closely with clients from around the world, finding and developing services opportunities based on helping solve complex analytic challenges.

Your job is to connect our team of genomic experts with researchers and clinicians struggling with either a too-heavy workload, skill set deficits, or other analytic challenges that stand in the way of their success. To solve them, you will work closely with your Golden Helix colleagues to develop compelling, results-oriented proposals that clearly define how we will help our clients succeed in their research.

    In return we offer:
    • An exciting role at the leading edge of genetic research that offers a competitive salary and commission structure, medical and dental insurance, vacation, disability, a flexible work schedule, and the chance to participate in a stream of intriguing and varied projects.
    • The opportunity to work in a professional, well-respected, and exciting company staffed with highly skilled, entrepreneurial colleagues, while living in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

It really is possible to have the best of both worlds!

    Requirements
    • You have a degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, plus a minimum 4-5 year track record of successfully selling into the Life Sciences sector, preferably products and services related to research analytics.
    • You have excellent strategic and collaborative selling skills.
    • You are skilled at developing relationships and progressing opportunities on the phone.
    • Based on your education or experience, you have a strong knowledge of the industry and science of genomics, genetics, or bioinformatics.
    • Job location is open, but our corporate headquarters in incredible Bozeman, Montana is preferred.

    Contact Information
If you are interested and fulfill the requirements, please send your CV, a cover letter, and salary requirements to [email protected].

Proteomic Platforms: How to Choose the Right Analytical Strategy to Improve Detection and Clinical Applications
    by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has

Advanced Sequencing Platforms Tackle Neuroscience’s Toughest Genomics Problems
    by SEQadmin2

Genomics studies in neuroscience face a special challenge due to the brain’s complexity and scarcity of samples. Mapping changes in cell type and state using conventional next-generation sequencing methods remains challenging. Advances in technologies like single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and long-read sequencing have opened the door to deeper studies of the brain and diseases like Alzheimer’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and schizophrenia.

Cancer Drug Resistance: The Lingering Barrier to Rising Survival
    by SEQadmin2

Cancer survival rates have significantly increased in the last few decades in the United States, reaching a combined 70% 5-year survival rate by 2021. Behind this number, there are years of research to find new therapies, drug targets, and early detection methods. But there is one core challenge that keeps slowing down these advances, and it’s about drug resistance.

There is no single reason why many patients don’t respond to treatment as expected. Cancer is...
