I'm the primary architect of wikiLIMS, so my biases are clear, but I live in Bethesda, MD and would be happy to arrange an onsite demo. But I'm in Europe for the rest of July so that would have to wait for a while.

I know of one customer has already ordered their SOLiD, but it has not yet arrived. I did have a good meeting with ABI before I left, which leaves me confident that the approach we've used for the FLX and GA2 will adapt to SOLiD colorspace without significant changes.Last edited by cariaso; 07-11-2008, 06:15 AM.Comment

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.07-01-2026, 11:43 AM
