Difference between different Illumina Primers (Nextera, PE etc)

Hey,

I am trying to design primer adaptors to sequence TCRs. A postdoc that has left the lab had designed Nextera primers to fit this experiment but left no documentation, and I am confused as to how I can use this for my experiments.

My question is mainly what the difference between all available Illumina primers are. For example, someone from the lab is looking at bacterial genes and uses really simple adapters that are found here . Would it be possible to run my samples with nexteria adapters with hers?

The document that you have provided a link is old one and does not include Nextera adapters so using those primers may not work with Nextera design. It is not clear that what stage your experiment is. You might get specific suggestion if you post exactly what you are planning to do.
