Default About Drosophila melanogaster

Hi,Guys.
I am familiar with the Drosophila melanogaster genome. I downloaded its genome sequence from FlyBase. Can any one tell me why there are many 'Het' chrosomes (for example, Chr2LHet)? Are they those contigs that can not be assembled ?
