Dear all,
I think I have installed the velvet successfully, because it is OK several days ago. However, when I run the velvet today, I find there always an error like this: /diag/software/velvet_1.2.03/./velveth: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.7' not found (required by /diag/software/velvet_1.2.03/./velveth) Can anyone give me some suggestions about how to deal with it? Thanks! Jingjing |

Presumably, your system administrator installed a new tool chain.
You can try to re-compile with the new tool chain. If you are using a super computer, you usually need to load compilers and libraries first with the module command. This error is not specific to Velvet, but is rather just a symbol that is not found at run time. For example, if you type this command: PHP Code:
