Default request for advice - graduated in Biology-Geology, master in Bioinformatics

Good Afternoon,

first of all I apologize for the "invasion" and to request your time for me. I'm a student of Masters in Bioinformatics at the University of Minho, Portugal, that soon will end my master degree and I would like to live / work in Dundee or Aberdeen, or i'm into another place in Sctoland, UK. Could you tell me if it is really hard to find a job in the cities i mentioned? Or an internship/research in the university? I trully prefer some kind of job...

i'm currently doing my dissertation in r "Transcriptomic analysis of Quercus suber L. seedlings under abiotic and biotic stresses" focussing on drougth and mycorrhization stresses. I'm used to NGS data and gene expression.

Awaiting a response,
InÍs Martins

ps: I can send you my CV if you want to take a look

Inez, Just start the ball rolling by finding some current job posts in the region you are targeting and reply with your application/cv/cover letter.
