Default IDEG6 - Normalization question - Identification Differentially Expressed Genes

Hello friends,

I'm using IDEG6 for Identification Differentially Expressed Genes but they normalize my values and I don't know how they do that... anyone knows?

http://telethon.bio.unipd.it/bioinfo...rm/detail.html

I have read the "HELP" tab but there only says "The total number of tags per library is used for normalizing gene expression values." but don't show how it is calculated or further info...
