The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in Computational Cancer Biology in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Boutros. We have generated multiple independent genomic analyses of a cohort of colon cancer patients, including mRNA and DNA microarrays, RNA-seq (ABI SOLiD), whole genome-sequencing (PacBio and Illumina Hi-Seq) and RNAi functional screen data. Rich clinical annotation is also available on these samples and the successful candidate will work in a collaborative team of biologists, computer scientists, and statisticians on the integrative analysis of all these datasets. Projects can include aspects of methods development, pre-processing and univariate statistical analyses and integrative systems biology. Analysis of these data will be performed on cutting-edge IT infrastructure including a multi-petabyte storage system and a 3,500-core compute farm.
