Hi there!
I have been using SOAPdenovo for a while.
With my given dataset i came across a few problems.
No matter how much i change the parameters. i just recived two diffrent results.
The dominant parameter seems to be K-mer and the average insert size (avg_ins). But even using totally contrary parameters, the result stays the same. Once finding a better result(aka finding a lower scaffold number) it mostly stays with the best result.
Has anyone encounter something alike or knows why SOAPdenovo works like this?
Next to that, altough SOAPdenovo-127mer should work with up to 127 K-mer I just received no result and just this kind of error:
There may be errors as follows:
1) Not enough memory.
2) The ARRAY may be overrode.
3) The wild pointers.
Enough memory is given.
Has anyone encounter any of this problem or has an idea what the problem could be?
I would be very thankful for any hints or even solutions.
Best regards,
Petrichor.
