Candidates must be experienced in the field of next generation sequencing data analysis and preferably also microarray data analysis. We expect that you will have a strong background in molecular biology or similar, as well as bioinformatics or statistics.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyze Next Gen Sequence data from exosome RNA derived from clinical samples.
  • Analyze microarray data from exosome RNA derived from clinical samples.
  • Deriving genetic signatures and biomarkers and evaluate their statistical validity.
  • Develop new algorithms and tools or modify existing ones to fit the needs for exosome RNA analysis.
  • Assist in the design of key experiments and companywide project plans to advance the development and understanding of the molecular biology of exosomes.
  • Provide assistance and training when required to aid the development of other team members.
  • Contribute data and analysis to intellectual property filings and peer reviewed publications.
  • Present thoughtful analysis and interact with the rest of the company’s scientific staff and key stake holders, including our collaborator network of world class hospitals and universities.
We expect that you:
  • Have a several years experience from academia and/or industry.
  • Are experienced in the analysis and handling of NGS data.
  • Are proficient in the use of bioinformatics tools and are experienced in the programming skills needed for the job.
  • Have a scientific publication record and are up to date on current scientific literature in the field.
  • Can work independently and are deadline focused.
  • Are disciplined and organized and understand the importance of documenting your work.
  • Have a strong sense of integrity.
  • Enjoy a culture where strong work ethics are combined with good humor.
  • Are looking for an opportunity to contribute to significant research outside of large corporate structures.
