Johns Hopkins -- Bioinformatics Analyst

Hi --

Look at the Hopkins website, https://hrnt.jhu.edu/jhujobs/, and search for requisition #38470.

We need a bioinformatics analyst (masters-level preferred) for a new high-throughput sequencing core facility. We are working with the SOLiD platform and have interactions throughout the university with various statisticians, biostatisticians, programmers, and biologists. We need a person who can take the data from the instrument and do the analyses required to make it usable by the researchers who submitted the samples. We are not starting a "black box" operation and we want to give researchers useful results and work with them to uncover the biology that lies within the data.
