Default gff statistics - intron/exon length..

Hello there,

I just got a promising genome annotation back from maker (gff3) and now I want to calculate basic statistics for it, e.g. average exon length, avg. intron length, avg. gene length, etc. I am pretty sure there must be tools out there that do that for me, but I cant seem to find anything on the net. Dont wanna reinvent the wheel..

Any ideas, anyone??

much obliged!
Chris
