The Li lab (
https://www.purdue.edu/hla/sites/lilab/) at Purdue University seeks applicants for a PhD position that offers interdisciplinary training in plant functional genomics, epigenetics and systems biology.
The PhD student will lead and participate in research projects aiming to characterize gene regulatory networks - including epigenetic regulatory edges - underlying important biological processes such as nutrient signaling and plant development. The mentoring goal is to train plant scientists with molecular toolkits and computational know-how.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in genetics, genomics, biology, plant sciences or in any related field. Candidates with a strong background in molecular biology and math are highly encouraged to apply.
