Hi all.
Is there any way to extract regions from a .map file (generated by MAQ), and output them to another binary file? For example, let's say that I have a file x.map, and I want to extract alignment results that span the coordinates from 1 to 100,000. Is there a straightforward way of extracting these regions to a binary file?
Also, is there a way to convert MAQ-generated alignment results (in ASCII text) to its binary equivalent? Are there any tools available that will allow me to do this?
Thanks.
